Symptoms of breast cancer
Lump, skin dimpling, nipple changes: which signs matter?

A lump in the breast or armpit, nipple discharge, nipple retraction, and redness or an orange-peel look of the skin are the main signs.
Cancerous lumps are usually hard with irregular edges and cannot be moved easily within the breast tissue. In some patients there are no symptoms and cancer is found only on mammography.
If at least one of the signs is present, see a specialist without delay.
