Non-surgical fibroadenoma treatment
Benign lumps are treated in the clinic by freezing them with cryoablation.

Suitable fibroadenomas confirmed benign by biopsy can be treated in the clinic by freezing them with a thin needle under ultrasound guidance (cryoablation).
The procedure is done under local anesthesia; no general anesthesia or hospital stay is needed. Only a mark of about 3 mm remains where the needle entered.
Most people return to daily activities the same day. The frozen tissue stays in place and is slowly absorbed over several months. Cryoablation is performed only on benign masses with a confirmed diagnosis.
